 Thank you for your participation and support of Cedar Crest-our students, families, and mission. Your presence and contribution is a model for our belief in democracy, the power of ONE, and human knowledge. Charitable support is the foundation of independent education in America. The good works and charitable resources of our parents, alumni, and community support our educational merit, our independence for progressive education, and maintain our authentic value. Charitable giving is what we do ourselves, and what we teach our children, not because it is required, but because it is what we ought to do. Cedar Crest's number one commitment is to learn about and with our children. As adults, we now know that ‘knowing it all’ is not possible or necessary. It is the learning journey that nourishes motivation and confidence. Our second commitment is to choose thoughts, words, and actions that manifest understanding. We can make that choice in every moment, and correct ourselves when we falter. It takes courage to sustain and help each other in this action.
