Early experiences shape the architecture of the brain and set the stage for success and adult productivity.  During the first three years of life, the brain undergoes rapid growth and the development of cognitive, linguistic, social, and emotional capacities is influenced significantly by relationships and environment.

Cedar Crest Early Childhood Center's Infant and Toddler Rooms provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest students, children ages birth to 2.9 years.  Early childhood educated caregivers use music, art, toys, and books to engage toddlers in meaningful activities that capitalize on their growing skills and competencies.  The development of gross motor skills is promoted through outdoor play on the Early Childhood Center's enclosed playground.

As our babies socialize, explore, and play, they acquire skills to aid in smooth transitions to preschool and beyond.
