Stanford Achievement Testing 2011-given each year of education at Cedar Crest Academy

The Stanford Achievement Test consists of 6-12 subtests evaluating achievement in reading, mathematics, language, science, and social science.  Students are administered the tests in the spring of each academic year, with no preparation except quality learning experiences throughout the year.

The purpose of the test is to evaluate student skills, teacher effectiveness and learn test taking strategies.

Percentile ranks are derived scores for comparing students to a normed group of the same age/grade.  Each student and each class at Cedar Crest Academy has a Summary of Achievement yielding a percentile.  The Complete Battery includes all of the subtests.  In grades 1-8, the average classroom achievement exceeds 75 of 100 students at age/grade. CCA students achieve in the top quarter of national students in all skills. Mathematics and Science continue to demonstrate strength in the 90th percentiles.
