O Optimizing learning is important for our students, and our admission process reflects this mission. There are various opportunities to learn about Cedar Crest Academy. Families may be introduced to the community during the Fall and Spring Open Houses. In the admission parent interview, one may learn about the philosophy, expectations, curriculum and vision for Cedar Crest Academy's students. Each child's history is studied. The curricular subjects, with the respective textual materials, and their research rationale, are discussed in the interview. Extensive classroom visits, throughout the school, give a view into the everyday learning environment your child will encounter. Families may observe the classroom in which your child will be placed and interact with students that are your child's age.

We invite students in grades 1 through 8 to visit, for a partial or full day, to experience the joy in learning and be evaluated for admission, at Cedar Crest Academy. The evaluation consists of a one-on-one assessment of cognitive parameters and basic achievement. A conference following the assessment will share the results with parents and student (age appropriate). Registration is offered to a prospective student following the interview and evaluation.

Classroom activity, community events and admission interviews are learning opportunities at Cedar Crest Academy. Parents, committed to educational excellence, will want to learn everything about the progressive experience at CCA, for their child.
